I went along to the Steampunks in Space event this year for the first time. Unfortunately, it was only for Sunday, but it didn’t disappoint! Hosted in the National Space Museum in Leicester, it was quite a drive for me (almost 3 hours), but well worth it.
As you approach the venue, you can see they don’t mess about! The first thing you see is a vast see through the building that hosts the “Thor” rocket from Nasa.
We were positioned in the main public gallery to the right of the stage:
They did a really good job of setting up the venue to look awesome! With hanging decorations on the ceiling:
The event had quite a line up:
So would we do it again? Yes sir! In fact, we have already put in our application for 2019! Over and out.
